You have one shot in that room. Let's make sure your story is ready for it.

The Spotlight Story Method is a premium storytelling and presentation coaching for founders, experts, and corporate leaders who are preparing for a high-stakes presentation — and can't afford to walk in with a story that doesn't land.

This is for you if:

✔️ You have a specific high-stakes presentation coming up — a pitch to investors, a demo day, a board presentation, a keynote — and the stakes are too high to wing it

✔️ You have existing material — a draft deck, a talk outline, notes — but something isn't clicking and you can't figure out what

✔️ Every time you rehearse, you feel like you're underselling your vision or overcomplicating your message

✔️ You're too close to your own story to see which parts will make your audience lean forward — and which parts are losing the room

✔️ You know your stuff cold, but the thought of standing in front of that specific audience makes you want to hide behind your slide deck

✔️ You're not sure how to show vulnerability without losing credibility — how to be human in a business room without coming across as unprofessional

“Reaching out to you was the best idea! Our presentation has completely transformed after working with you. We are incredibly happy with the results”

Here’s what we’ll do so you show up powerfully in your next high-stakes moment:

👏 Polish up your existing presentation draft to identify the story that REALLY needs to be told

👏 Create a story structure that makes your vision RESONATE with your target audience

👏 Identify moments you want to be equipped for and tailor a slide outline that supports your story without overwhelming your message

👏 Rehearse your moment with a timer and live feedback on delivery and presence

What you walk away with

— A presentation that finally sounds like you — not a rehearsed performance, not a corporate script, but your actual vision told in the clearest possible way

— A slide structure that supports your story without overwhelming it — so you can speak with confidence instead of hiding behind your deck

— A story framework you can adapt for the moments that follow: the follow-up meeting, the press question, the networking conversation

Rehearsed delivery — because knowing your story and performing it under pressure are two different things, and we train for both

— The ability to handle Q&A like a leader, not a deer in headlights — because the questions after your talk are often where the real decision gets made

“We feel that now we are able to refer to data and communicate impact numbers more effectively.
This has helped generate stronger emotional responses and a sense of awe around our work and achievements.”

“Thank you again so much for the wonderful coaching and for our great and successful collaboration! I learned a lot of new things from you, and our time working together was truly enjoyable.”

- Senior Manager at DHL

Let’s get into the details!
This is exactly what we will work on:

  • Power Session 1

We go deep into your existing material — your deck, your draft, your current narrative — and I ask a lot of questions. Not to tear it apart, but to find the story that's already in there waiting to be told properly.

  • Power Session 2

Comb through our draft storyline to tighten the flow, maximize the impact, and make sure your message SINGS according to audience, time constraints, set up, etc.

Here we will also brush up your slides according to my favorite rule “less is more”. I’ll make suggestions to improve headlines, text hierarchy, images, data visualization, and high level design elements.

  • Power Session 3

We will have another iteration of refining your slides and match them with your talk.

In this session, we will discuss other moments you want your story to be ready for and package messages that you can re-purpose easily and adjust as needed (story framework)

  • Rehearsal Session

Almost show time! We’ll run through your presentation with a timer and I provide feedback on your delivery—including ways to strengthen audience connection, enhance your body language, and refine the overall flow and emotional impact of your talk.

The person in your corner

I'm Joana — brand strategist, storytelling expert, and the person who has stood in the wings of enough high-stakes rooms to know exactly what separates the presentations people remember from the ones they forget before the applause dies down.

For years I worked closely with speakers to get them ready for the Berlin and Munich TEDx stages — executives, scientists, entrepreneurs, activists — helping them turn complex or niche ideas into talks that anyone could relate to.

I did the same for C-suite clients: only not for the stage, but for internal presentations: announcing the new strategy, outlining a vision, ensuring buy in, etc.

What I learned there applies to every high-stakes presentation:

It's never about having more slides, more data, or more rehearsal time.

It’s about reducing the excess and narrowing in on that ONE core idea you want to get across.

And that’s what we do together: strip away everything that's getting in the way, so the story that actually needs to be told finally gets heard.

Here’s an exact breakdown of what you get in the Spotlight Story Method

  • 3 x 1:1 Storyline Power Sessions Sessions (90 Min each) to deeply understand your story, identify the narrative and key messages, and harmonize your script with your slides.

  • 1 x 1:1 Rehearsal Session (60 Min) to polish your presence and speech for the big moment.

  • A crystal-clear pitch you’re excited to deliver because it actually sounds like you

  • A presentation slide outline that supports your story (without overwhelming your message) so that you can deliver with confidence, not hide behind your deck

  • A story framework built for your specific audience and room — so every answer, every follow-up, every conversation after the presentation stays consistent and confident

  • Story structure that makes your vision memorable for your audience (including those who are new to your niche)

  • Message Clarity Map™ – A simple structure to distill your mission into one unforgettable line

  • Confidence Cues Checklist™ – Tools to shift from self-doubt to main-character energy

 FAQs

  • HECK YES! Most of my clients aren't born performers at all - they're brilliant executors, strategists, and experts who've never needed to be "the person on stage."

The Spotlight Story Method isn't about turning you into someone you're not. It's about finding a way to present that feels like you, so you can walk up there and talk the way you'd talk to a colleague over coffee — just with more structure behind it.

  • Absolutely. Some of my most rewarding work has been with corporate leaders preparing internal pitches, board presentations, and funding requests. The stakes in those rooms are just as high — sometimes higher. If you have a high-stakes presentation and a story that needs to land, we can work together regardless of your context.

  • Knowing your stuff and knowing how to tell it are two very different skills. A lot of my clients come to me with decks full of impressive results, KPIs, and milestones — but their feedback is always the same: "It's too factual." We work together to find the narrative thread that makes your audience actually care, remember, and understand how to work with you.

  • Good, it should be! The goal isn't to mimic anyone else's style. Some of the most memorable presentations I've seen work precisely because the speaker leaned INTO what makes them different. If you're the one person in the room with a unique angle or an unconventional role, that's not a disadvantage, that is your hook.

  • That's actually one of the most common things we work on. The instinct to share everything you've done is natural, especially when you've worked incredibly hard. But a great presentation isn't about showing all 68 bullet points — it's about choosing the five that land. We'll figure out together what to keep, what to cut, and what to just hint at so people come find you afterward.

  • Yes, and I'd encourage it. We can do timed run-throughs, I'll give you honest feedback on pacing and energy, and I'll often ask you to send me voice recordings of your talk between sessions. Rehearsal is where the magic happens — it's what turns a good story into something that sounds EFFORTLESS. I can tell you: All the great talks we watch are rehearsed down to the very last second.

  • Hey, I believe everything is figureoutable! But I also know that sometimes you need support in seeing the part in your own story that make other people lean forward.

(It’s a little bit like trying to edit your own writing or cut your own hair.)

I’m not here to take over your vision. I’m here to give you the compass and blueprint so YOU can tell your story with confidence. Think of me as your translator - I help you turn the brilliant thoughts in your head into words that land with everyone else.

  • I get it, it’s an investment. But think about it like this: What’s the cost of NOT being able to clearly communicate your project? How many opportunities could you miss because you can’t articulate what you do in a way that makes people say “tell me more”? I believe learning how to tell our story is one of the most valuable assets a person can have in life and in business.

  • Immediate confidence boost in high-stakes conversations

Clearer team alignment (everyone tells the same story)

Better pitch performance (memorability beyond the stage)

More successful presentations and pitches. Clearer, more confident delivery in the room. Q&A that strengthens rather than undermines your case.

The ROI isn’t just financial - it’s operational efficiency.

  • I've worked with clients on timelines as short as two weeks. We adapt the process — sometimes that means compressing sessions, sometimes it means shifting the balance between story work and delivery rehearsal. As long as we can fit in the core sessions, I'll make sure you walk into that room feeling prepared.

  • The Spotlight Story Method specifically addresses this. We don’t just craft your story - we rehearse it until it feels natural. You’ll have a clear structure, key talking points, and practiced transitions so you never have to wonder “what do I say next?” Plus, when you’re telling a story that actually feels like YOU, the nerves settle down. It’s way easier to be confident when you’re not trying to remember someone else’s script.

“On the first day of our collaboration, answering your questions about us, who we are, what we do, how we do it, and what we aim to achieve, helped us take ownership of our objectives. It also made us reflect on certain aspects we hadn't fully considered, which helped us gain more clarity and focus. The work done with the Miro Board reviewing every part of our pitch was super useful!”

- Co-founder, preparing for accelerator presentation

“Your ability to ask the right questions and guide us through the process made a huge difference.”
- VP at a wellness non-profit

“There’s no comparison to the original draft! Our first draft even caused some disagreements between us. Then, when we started presenting it to the accelerator team, the feedback was not great, we had a lot of flaws and many changes to make. We felt a bit lost and were rushing through it. The final result, however, was a 10/10 compared to what we initially had!
